Things That Are Blue.

Blue is considered a primary colour, with orange it's traditional complement.

In the English Language, blue is associated with sadness. In Germany, it is associated with being drunk.

In Thailand, blue is associated with Friday. Anyone born on a Friday can wear this colour on that day.

In Hinduism, blue represents the 5th (throat) chakra.

In Ancient Rome, blue was worn by public servants, influencing the idea for blue as the colour of police uniform.

In the dark, blue can be seen over a wider range of vision than red.

Blue is the most-bought women's sweatshirt/sweater colour, because women think men like it.

Blue were an irritating boyband in Britain in the late 1990's.
